Work with Me

About Me

After five years as a nurse, I found myself mentally and physically drained. This might sound excessive, right? How could I compare my exhaustion to that of a nurse with 20 or 30 years of experience, having cared for countless patients with complex conditions? It’s true, and I feel deep pride and admiration for those nurses who, despite everything, continue striving each day to be the best for their patients — those who walk through hospital doors leaving their personal struggles behind because they may be the only face, or even the last face, a patient sees.

In my case, I was doing the same, but in home health and hospice, mainly with children. In many instances, I was the only face they would see in a day — and once, I was the last one. That experience took a tremendous emotional toll, but what I realized I still loved was educating patients and families. I see education in healthcare not only as a cost-saving measure for institutions but as a lifesaving intervention for patients themselves. Throughout these years, I have recognized that patients don’t just need information; they need reinforcement and continuous support.

One Saturday, sitting in my living room watching my five-month-old son try to crawl, something clicked. I thought, “How can I continue educating patients?” I remembered that I have two distinct professions, earned in different languages, cultures, and countries. What if I combined them into a new purpose? What if I mirrored my son's determination to crawl and started building a new path — one dedicated to helping society through healthcare education?

That’s how The Journalist Nurse was born. She is still learning to crawl, but she has the inner strength and passion to work with you to create content that educates, empowers, and truly makes a difference — content that could mean a patient sees more than just one face a day or perhaps has a better chance of seeing many more.
